Keen Primer 400ML Spray provides a reliable base for a flawless finish, enhancing adhesion and durability for a range of materials. Manufactured in Italy with high-quality raw materials, this primer line includes three specialised variants: Metal Primer, Plastic Primer, and Fill Primer, each formulated for specific surfaces and applications.
Features and Benefits
• Keen Metal Primer – Available in red and grey, this rust-inhibiting primer is designed for ferrous metals, most non-ferrous metals, and bare wood. It provides a durable, corrosion-resistant base for paint, ensuring long-term adhesion and preventing premature flaking.
• Keen Plastic Primer – Available in grey, and black, this adhesion-promoting primer is perfect for plastic surfaces, including difficult materials like brass, aluminium, light metals, copper, and bronze. Ideal for automotive and household applications, it ensures a secure bond between plastic and paint.
• Keen Fill Primer – Available in beige-ivory, this high-build spray filler smooths minor scratches and surface irregularities on metal, motorcycles, bicycles, and other vehicle parts, creating a perfect base for overcoating.
• Fast-Drying Formula – Touch dry in 10 minutes, fully cured in 24 hours (at 20°C).
• High Coverage – Approximately 2 square metres per can, ensuring efficient use.

How to Use
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Shake the can well before use, then hold it 20-30 cm from the surface and apply in even, light coats. Allow 10 minutes for touch dry and 24 hours for full curing. Avoid applying below 15°C, especially in low-ventilation areas. Use Keen Plastic Primer for plastic surfaces and Keen Vantage White Matt for a white primer on non-ferrous metals only (not rust-inhibiting). Not suitable for polystyrene.
